Scott mentored me during my first year of Medical Device Sales. I started as an Associate Sales Representative with little sales experience and almost a non-existent knowledge of the medical field. From day one, Scott was a guiding hand and showed me what it takes to be successful. Scott helped me create a strategic list of prospects and helped me close deals. He would accompany me to sales calls when needed, talked things over before we went inside, and showed support in the meetings. He always helped me when I fell behind and provided ongoing telephone support. Scott has a very special talent for sales training and I owe most of my early career success to him. I shattered my numbers as an associate and was recently promoted to a full line Medical Sales Representative in under 1 year!
I came into the medical device industry with no sales training at all. I understood in a general sense the importance of business relationships, product competitive advantages, sales strategy, etc., but I didn’t know what that actually LOOKED like yet. Scott took it upon himself to show me first hand how to effectively bring value to the medical device industry. Anywhere from day-long sales calls, phone calls at 9pm the night before a tricky case, to seeing what a passion for big vision truly looks like, I’ve been more prepared for this new career than I ever thought I would.
Scott and Sarah were the best investments I ever could have made when it came to breaking into medical device sales. I was a personal trainer before and had no B2B sales experience, which is what I kept hearing from other reps that I needed to break into the field. Scott and Sarah showed me how to use my weakness as a strength and how to not only get my foot in the door for an interview, but how to win the interview and get the job. Let me tell you a little about Scott and Sarah. These two people will do anything possible to help people succeed in the medical sales industry. During my search, they were there for me every step of the way. I remember having many victory calls and many training calls. They were even able to connect me to incredible people in the industry that helped shape my love for medical sales. Without Scott and Sarah, I don’t think I would have been able to land a job. Even after landing the job, they were still there to help me succeed. They inspire with their passion, communicate with love to everyone, and overflow with selflessness.
